Winter/Spring 2024 Dance Classes
Registration Open December 11, 2023 - January 12, 2024
Registration for the remainder of our program year is open now through January 12, 2024.
Moving in the Spirit has dance programs for boys and girls ages 3-18, with entry-level classes for all ages and intermediate/advanced classes for more seasoned dancers.
Classes are based in modern dance and creative movement, with additional opportunities to study ballet, jazz, hip hop, and West African dance. Sliding scale tuition based on income is available.
Programs with open spots include:
- Stepping Stones: Open-level classes with multiple options for boys and girls ages 3-18
- Men in Motion: Intermediate-level training company for boys ages 9-13
- Technical Theater Production: A brand-new design and production program for teens ages 13-18
Movement Labs
Dance students ages 7-12 who enroll in a Stepping Stones class (Mini Steps, Girls in Motion, or Boys in Motion) are also eligible to enroll in one or more weekly Movement Labs to further their dance training.
Movement Labs in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and West African dance are available.
