Moving in the Spirit is launching a new job-readiness production program for teens ages 13-18!
Technical Theater Production features intensive hands-on instruction and provides young people with the knowledge and skills to operate professional theater equipment, manage productions, and design original content.
Technical theater production students will:
- Study production, lighting, and sound design with industry professionals
- Train with professional lighting and audio components
- Acquire practical skills in show load-in and operation of audio, visual and lighting equipment
- Plan and stage performances
Classes begin on January 8, 2024 will take place on Mondays from 5 PM – 6:15 PM in Moving in the Spirit’s new state-of-the-art theater.
Students will train on newly-installed, top-of-the-line equipment, gaining hands-on experience that will prepare them for careers as technical experts.
The pilot semester of this program is launching with a one-time-only monthly tuition of $60/month. Sliding scale tuition is available.
