The Ambassador Team is our premier performance company, comprising talented dancers aged 10 to 18.
As ambassadors for Moving in the Spirit, these dedicated young performers represent our organization with excellence and artistry at local, regional, and national events and performances.
Selected for their exceptional skill, commitment, and passion for dance, members of the Ambassador Team showcase the transformative power of movement while embodying values of creativity, unity, and compassionate leadership.
About Ambassador Team:
Ambassadors are ages 10-18 and will be selected through an audition process that evaluates both dance technique and youth development skills. They are considered part of a “ready” performance team that is called upon when opportunities arise to showcase the message and talent of Moving in the Spirit.
Dancers on the Ambassador Team work with nationally recognized artists, dancers, and lecturers.
The Ambassador Team is a year-round commitment.
Dancers rehearse once monthly on Sundays from 1 PM- 4 PM. Additional rehearsals may be required as performance opportunities become available.
There is no additional tuition charge associated with the Ambassador Team.
How to Join the Ambassador Team:
Students who wish to be a part of the Ambassador Team must audition.
Audition Options:
- Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 1 PM – 4 PM
- Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 2 PM-4 PM
All auditions will be held at Moving in the Spirit.
