Why Choose EMBODY?

At Moving in the Spirit, we’re dedicated to empowering youth and young adults through dance and performance arts, equipping them with tools for success in every aspect of life. The EMBODY Winter Artist Intensive condenses these efforts into 12 immersive hours of training, connection, and discovery.

This year’s intensive participants will explore movement in theater, film and social media. Students will immerse themselves in physical theater techniques, scriptwriting as a choreographic device, and the art of filming movement for a social media platform.

Guest artists will join Moving in the Spirit instructors to offer a uniquely immersive experience for curious movers and artists.

This program is tailored for intermediate to advanced dancers ages 9-18 who are ready to elevate their artistry and expand their skills in a supportive and creative environment.

Students will explore the foundations of physical theater and strengthen their skills in storytelling through the body.
