Matt Wynalda comes to Moving in the Spirit following a stint as Director of Program Operations at Linden Resources in Arlington, Virginia, where he helped launch a federally-funded program supporting low-income fathers. He previously served in leadership roles at two youth mentoring organizations and has worked as a freelance writer and editor for the past dozen years. He is drawn to the written word and loves the power of a well-told story.
Matt stepped into the role of Fundraising and Development Manager in 2017. He is impressed by what he has found at Moving in the Spirit: a sound program model, a deep organization-wide commitment to evaluation and meaningful results, and most of all, inspiring success stories of young leaders making their mark and an organization with a proud history and a promising future.
