Performance at Beauté Noir Fest Juneteenth Celebration

Saturday, June 18 at 12:30 PM
Old Fourth Ward Skate Park

Moving in the Spirit is performing Saturday, June 18th at Beauté Noir Fest’s Juneteenth celebration honoring Black beauty, culture, and changemakers!

Presented by Camille Rose Naturals, the 2nd Annual Beauté Noir Fest has an amazing line-up of performers, DJs, hair/fashion shows, games, food, and more!

We’ll be performing “Stand,” a dance about freedom and resilience choreographed in 2020 by alumna Alina Hinton in collaboration with student  Keilah Callender.

Keilah has since graduated and gifted the dance to the next generation of dancers at Moving in the Spirit. She can’t wait for Atlanta to see them shine onstage in this incredible piece!

We take the stage at 12:30 PM, but the festival runs all day from 12 PM – 8 PM.
General admission is free with registration, and VIP tickets are available.
